General Manager

Silith Technology is seeking a proactive and hands-on General Manager to oversee production coordination, supply chain execution, and day-to-day operational support within the semiconductor ecosystem. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role ensures the smooth functioning of wafer-level production, logistics, and partner alignment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with foundries, OSATs, and high-mix, low-volume manufacturing in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Operations Execution

• Manage day-to-day operations, including production scheduling, inventory planning, and order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with foundry and OSAT partners to track wafer fabrication, packaging, and testing.
• Ensure timely product deliveries and efficient process handovers across internal and external teams.

2. Supply Chain & Procurement Oversight

• Monitor procurement activities, material readiness, and vendor lead times.
• Identify supply chain bottlenecks and implement resolution plans.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with SLAs and quality expectations.

3. Process Optimization

• Support lean process implementation and SOP rollout across operations functions.
• Analyze operational KPIs (yield, cycle time, capacity) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor WIP, backlog, and delivery accuracy for timely escalations and resolution.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Finance teams to align operational planning with business goals.
• Maintain open communication with logistics partners and internal stakeholders on critical path items.
• Escalate delays, yield losses, or resource gaps to senior management with actionable insights.

5. Reporting & Operational Reviews

• Maintain operational dashboards and weekly status reports.
• Track progress against key fulfillment and productivity targets.
• Contribute insights to management for demand forecasting and resource planning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Management, Engineering, Electronic, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain execution in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Familiarity with wafer fab and OSAT workflows is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills, with a detail-oriented, execution-first mindset.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP/MRP systems for tracking and reporting.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience managing offshore suppliers or production vendors.
• Knowledge of semiconductor production flow, logistics, or yield management is a plus.
