Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to Define and drive end-to-end test strategies for UI, APIs, and integrations. You will validate GenAI outputs, ensure task accuracy, and manage multi-turn conversational testing across agentic interfaces.

The role requires hands-on automation across REST APIs and Web UIs, with strong knowledge of automation frameworks and programming languages. Singapore-based, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of software quality/ test engineering experience.
• Strong experience testing web UIs, backend services and REST APIs.
• Hands-on with API tools and automation frameworks (Postman, REST Assured, pytest, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript for automation tasks.
• Solid test analysis, risk assessment and traceability skills.
• Experience validating distributed systems, asynchronous processing and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute end-to-end test strategies for UI, APIs, and integrations.
• Test conversational and agentic behavior with multi-turn contexts and tool usage.
• Validate GenAI outputs for task completion, grounding, relevance and safety.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory and basic performance testing.
• Design API tests covering contracts, auth, validation and error handling.
• Test UI across browsers and real user journeys with accessibility awareness.
• Create reusable test data and traceable evidence for release governance.
• Use logs, traces and observability tools to isolate defects across layers.
• Automate tests to reduce cycle time and production risk; minimize low-value tests in automation.
• Communicate defects and quality risks clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
