Job summary

User Experience Researchers Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced software engineer to build and deploy AI-powered workflows and custom applications in a Singapore-based setting. You will own production-grade solutions, from data ingestion to deployment, with emphasis on reliability and governance.

You will collaborate with business units to shape solutions, prototype quickly, and iterate based on user feedback, while balancing speed, security, and maintainability across cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production applications.
• Strong Python backend skills, API design, asynchronous processing, and system architecture.
• Relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and data pipelines with search/vector retrieval.
• Hands-on GenAI and agentic systems using LangGraph/LangChain/LlamaIndex/n8n.
• Cloud/production delivery experience; AWS Bedrock and OpenSearch preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder partnership and ability to explain trade-offs to non-technical users.
• Delivery mindset for ambiguous domains balancing value, speed, security and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Business discovery to translate needs into use cases, user stories, and success metrics.
• Rapid prototyping, user validation, and iterative delivery of solutions.
• Design and implement AI workflows and agents with reliable orchestration.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and lightweight UIs around business use cases.
• Data ingestion, transformation, and retrieval pipelines with data quality controls.
• Develop secure backends and relational models, diagnose integration/state issues.
• Define evaluation criteria, monitor quality, latency and tool calls; improve prompts.
• Apply secure engineering practices, governance, and responsible AI measures.
• Ensure production readiness, rollout, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
