Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Singapore is seeking an experienced UI/UX Engineer with strong React frontend skills to work directly with business units and design, build, and deploy intuitive applications on our enterprise GenAI platform.

In this role, you will translate user needs into prototypes and production‑quality interfaces, collaborate with product design and backend teams, and drive usability, accessibility, and performance improvements across complex AI‑enabled applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering, UX engineering, or a product-facing role with shipping apps.
• Advanced proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with knowledge of component architecture and state management.
• Strong foundation in user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, and accessible design.
• Ability to translate user needs and design concepts into polished, production-ready interfaces without heavy handoffs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration with non-technical users, and ability to work with ambiguous requirements.

Responsibilities

• User Discovery & Workflow Design: understand goals and workflows with business users and translate into personas and product requirements.
• Prototyping & User Validation: create wireframes and interactive prototypes; facilitate usability testing and iterate.
• React Frontend Engineering: build responsive, production‑quality web apps using React/Next.js/TypeScript/HTML/CSS.
• AI Interaction Design: design interfaces for conversational, generative, and agentic experiences.
• Design Systems & Accessibility: extend reusable patterns and ensure accessibility compliance.
• Backend & Platform Integration: collaborate with AI and backend engineers on API contracts and integrations.
• Quality, Performance & Security: optimize usability and performance; implement tests and secure frontend practices.
• Deployment, Adoption & Handover: manage frontend rollout, onboarding, and knowledge transfer.
• Field-to-Platform Feedback: identify reusable interface patterns for core platform improvements.
