Job summary

Google LLC in Singapore seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production-grade realities within customer environments. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions, solving integration, data readiness, and state-management challenges to reach enterprise maturity.

You will embed with customers’ engineering teams, leveraging Google’s Gemini and Vertex AI portfolio, and work toward a scalable, reliable production workflow from discovery to roll-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in cloud computing or a technical customer-facing role.
• Experience deploying, scaling, and debugging LLM or agent-based systems in production (tools, memory, orchestration, tracing, cost/latency).
• End-to-end technical ownership of engineering projects with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google’s AI products and customer infrastructure, including APIs and data silos.
• Design and deploy production-grade agentic developer workflows on Google Cloud's AI stack and pipelines.
• Embed with customer staff to identify bottlenecks and define success metrics.
• Integrate Google’s agentic systems into customer ISVs and tools using MCP and A2A protocols.
