Qualifications

• Education: CS/DS/AI-ML or CE with software/AI focus.
• Strong Python programming for AI/ML with clean, tested code.
• Familiarity with LLMs and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face) and orchestration tools.
• Hands-on GenAI projects via internships, research or projects.
• Understanding of AI agents orchestration and governance.
• Ethics and safe AI practices in design and prototyping.
• Ability to collaborate in Agile teams with strong communication.
• Adaptability to learn new AI/data-science tech quickly.
• Desirable: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, RDBMS; Java/JS/TS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Join an international rotation program in VIAVI's R&D Excellence Centers.
• Develop skills at the forefront of AI/ML and related technologies.
• Contribute to GenAI and data science projects underpinning VIAVI solutions.
• Collaborate with rotating teams and designated project groups.
• Research, prototype, and productize innovative GenAI capabilities.
