GenAI Architect Lead

We are partnering with a leading global bank to hire a Principal AI/GenAI Lead - a pivotal role driving the bank’s generative AI strategy. You'll lead the development, governance, and adoption of enterprise AI solutions, working with senior stakeholders and leveraging technologies like LLMs, MS OpenAI, and Azure AI.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Governance

• Define and implement the AI/GenAI roadmap aligned with business goals

• Establish enterprise-wide AI governance frameworks and ensure compliance

• Engage stakeholders to promote AI adoption and value creation

Development & Advisory

• Lead the design, development, and testing of innovative AI/GenAI solutions

• Champion use cases involving LLMs, chatbots, and automation via Microsoft tools

• Evaluate AI models, advise on architecture, and guide best practices

Security & Risk Management

• Ensure AI solutions adhere to robust security and risk frameworks

• Implement governance protocols for responsible AI usage

Training & Enablement

• Develop training programs to upskill teams on AI tools and capabilities

• Build an internal AI knowledge-sharing ecosystem

Support & Maintenance

• Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement of AI solutions

Requirements

• 12+ years in IT with at least 8 years focused on AI applications; banking industry experience preferred

• Bachelor's degree in AI, Data Science, or related field; relevant certifications in Azure, AI, and Data Science

• Strong expertise in ML, DL, NLP, GenAI, LLMs (GPT, Llama, Claude), TensorFlow, and PyTorch

• Proficient in Azure AI stack, MS OpenAI, Cosmos DB, MLOps, DataOps, and modern data architectures

• Hands-on experience with BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau

• Proven track record in leading AI teams and delivering enterprise AI solutions

• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills

• Deep understanding of AI governance, compliance, and risk mitigation
