Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to assist in developing and maintaining the AI Lab’s global sandbox platform. You will provide technical guidance to teams, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and contribute to the continuous improvement of AI products. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in AI development and strong programming skills in Python and R.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the AI Lab’s global sandbox platform.
• Ensure the platform is effectively used for experimenting with AI applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform based on user feedback and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the sandbox environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to teams using the sandbox for AI product development.
• Conduct research and development (R&D) to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and Large Language Model frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance and support in the AI domain to teams under incubation that develop AI products.
• Analyse and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Assist in the technology aspects of the structured AI product incubation and acceleration program.
• Ensure AI Products and experiments are developed in alignment with Organization’s core risk, data protection, and technology risk management policies and regulations.
• Contribute to the implementation of rigorous quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of AI solutions.
• Work on the delivery of high-quality AI products, continuous improvement, experimentation, and development of Organization’s AI expertise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, AI, and business stakeholders, to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
• Work with external partners, including higher education institutions, start-ups, hyperscalers, and government agencies.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the AI Lab.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in AI and machine learning best practices.
• Contribute to the development of AI talent through participation in education and training programs.
• Engage with the external AI ecosystem to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements.
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to showcase the company’s AI capabilities.

Skills Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in developing and deploying AI models and algorithms.
• Strong technical background in data, AI, and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Good programming skills in languages such as Python, R.
