Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for GCP environments. Ensure configurations are scalable, reliable, and follow best practices.
2. GCP Platform Management: Architect and manage GCP environments, including compute, storage, and networking components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide scalable solutions.
3. Vertex AI Integration: Work closely with data scientists and AI specialists to integrate and optimize solutions using Vertex AI. Implement and manage machine learning pipelines and models within Vertex AI.
4. BigQuery Storage: Design and optimize data storage solutions using BigQuery. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts for efficient data processing.
5. Wiz Security Control Integration: Integrate and configure Wiz Security Control for security monitoring and compliance. Work with security teams to enhance controls.
6. Automation and Tooling: Develop automation solutions for monitoring, scaling, and managing GCP resources. Maintain scripts and tools for operational efficiency.
7. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and policies as code. Conduct security assessments and audits.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Tiered School preferred).
2. GCP Certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) highly desirable.
3. Proven experience with IaC using Terraform in GCP.
4. Hands-on experience with Vertex AI and BigQuery.
5. Experience with Wiz Security Control.
6. In-depth knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, Storage, VPC, IAM).
7. Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools.
8. Strong understanding of GCP security and compliance.
9. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
