GlobalFoundries in Singapore seeks a Gas/Chemical Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of gas and chemical distribution systems supporting semiconductor manufacturing. The role offers technical leadership in system optimization, reliability, safety compliance, and project execution, with comprehensive training for newcomers.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and production teams to maintain uninterrupted supply and drive continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Prior related internship or co‑op experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
• Project management skills and the ability to innovate and execute on solutions.
• Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity.

Responsabilidades

• Gas & Chemical System Operations: Manage daily operation of bulk gas, specialty gas, and chemical distribution systems.
• Ensure continuous and reliable delivery of processed gases and chemicals to modules.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and production teams to resolve system issues.
• Monitor system performance, consumption trends, and operating parameters.
• Lead or support HAZOP, risk assessments, PHA, and safety reviews.
• Review P&IDs, equipment layouts, and design packages; coordinate testing & commissioning.

Educación
