Job summary

One Seven Consulting has partnered with an established organisation in Singapore to recruit a Senior Facilities Engineer (Gas & Chemical). You will oversee operation, maintenance and optimisation of site-wide gas, chemical and life safety systems, and manage improvement projects to ensure safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on troubleshooting, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and internal teams to deliver safe, reliable plant

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in gas and chemical systems.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of gas, chemical and life safety systems and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance and reliability of gas, chemical and life safety systems across the site.
• Convene KPI reviews and optimise inventory, delivery and storage.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors to complete maintenance safely and per PM plans.
• Lead gas and chemical system projects and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and MOM Safety Case requirements.
• Provide on-site technical support and perform root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare operational reports and review improvement initiatives for cost efficiency.
• Plan facilities expansion and engage with cross-functional teams.
