An innovative gaming company is seeking an experienced Game Operations Manager who will develop and implement strategies to enhance user engagement and community growth. The role involves leading daily operations of live games, analyzing user data to drive performance, and mentoring a team of specialists. Candidates should have over 5 years in mobile game operations, with excellent analytical and leadership skills, ideally in social or casual gaming environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute overall game operations strategies, including event design, monetization planning, player retention, and community growth;
- Lead daily operations for live games or the platform, ensuring high-quality user experiences and stable performance;
- Analyze user data and behavioral insights to improve KPIs such as DAU, ARPU, retention, and LTV;
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing teams to enhance core gameplay and social features;
- Lead and mentor a team of operations specialists, building scalable workflows and performance standards;
- Monitor industry trends and competitor benchmarks to shape and refine operational direction;
- Work directly with senior leadership to align operations with business strategy and global expansion plans.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in mobile game operations or live product management, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role;
- Proven track record of driving user engagement, monetization, and long-term player growth, ideally in social/casual games;
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Data Studio, Tableau);
- Excellent project management, cross-functional coordination, and leadership skills;
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-style environment;
- Multilingual proficiency is a plus, especially in languages relevant to key international markets (e.g. Chinese, Spanish, Bahasa, Portuguese, Korean,etc.).
