Responsibilities

  • Analyze key game metrics (e.g., retention, engagement, monetization, and churn rates) to optimize game mechanics and player experiences
  • Conduct research and A/B testing to refine onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and smooth playing experience
  • Design and iterate on game loops, difficulty progression, and reward systems using player behavior data
  • Monitor game data to assess feature effectiveness, adjusting mechanics based on player engagement trends
  • Test gameplay mechanics, incorporating analytics insights to refine core game loops and risk/reward structures
  • Maintain detailed game design documents, including visual mockups, system flows, and interaction diagrams, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams
  • Work closely with engineers, artists, and marketing teams to align game design with player needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in product management, product design, or data analysis, in consumer-facing digital products
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics, or other data platforms
  • Ability to conduct A/B testing and interpret results to refine product features, UX and game flow
  • Proven track record of designing and optimizing digital experiences based on user behavior and data analysis
  • Excellent documentation skills to communicate design features and maintain structured product design documents
  • Collaborative mindset—comfortable working with cross-functional teams including engineering, art, and marketing
  • Passion for gaming and a keen interest in player behavior, engagement, and retention strategies


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in game design or game-related products
  • Familiarity with casual and mobile game mechanics
  • Understanding of free-to-play monetization strategies
