A leading global financial services firm seeks a Product Management leader for its Foreign Exchange team in Singapore. The role involves creating product strategies, managing trade processing systems, and collaborating with various teams to enhance product offerings. Citi’s Foreign Exchange Product team is seeking a leader in Product Management who will
Create a product vision and roadmap to delivery
Be responsible from concept to design to delivery with end user / client in the forefront
Work in close co-ordination with various business, risk, finance, technology and operations teams to fulfil the delivery objective
The successful candidate will be hands-on and techno functional, willing and able to dig into trading systems to understand critical data flows. The incumbent will have excellent analytical skills, and a solid understanding of key business concepts, and be able to use these skills to manage and implement a wide variety of products. Will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that make him/her equally effective working with business users and technology alike.
Key Responsibilities:
In today’s increasingly competitive financial markets business success depends upon ability to process and manage risk in a real time environment.
Citi’s Foreign Exchange systems execute millions of transactions daily; and the FX product team manages platforms that provide near real-time, end-of-day, and historical data about these transactions, associated risk and the clients that execute them. Our goal is to support all our business’ risk, trade processing and regulatory needs.
We are looking to hire a resourceful individual who will throw themselves into the challenge of understanding and managing FX Trade processing platforms and trade flows so that they can produce timely and accurate analysis and simple solutions for complex problems. As part of this role, the successful candidate will gain an in-depth knowledge of the key areas of the FX franchise Globally and to collaborate with business leaders and technologists to identify key opportunities to build and implement Products to drive business value.
Specific areas of focus would be:
• Enhancing Trade Processing Capacity and Resilience by evaluating new technologies, optimizing workflows, and automating processes to improve trade processing efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Standardizing Market Risk Management through implementation of standardised Risk Platform
• Automation by implementing automated trade processing flows working with Citi’s services partners in Custody and Payments to reduce manual errors and speed up transaction times.
• FX Options as we build a new infrastructure and platform for this business
• Navigating the Complex Regulatory Environment in Asia to ensure we are compliant with regulations and controls as well as work with local compliance and Trading and sales to implement new initiatives as key markets such as Korea, India and Taiwan open up
Key teams and stakeholders that the incumbent will interact with and influence are FX Global and Regional trading heads, Global & Regional CAO’s, Technology partners, Markets Ops, Risk and Finance
The role reports into FX Global Product Manager – Core Products in London.Qualifications and Skills:
