Job summary

Symmetry Investments Singapore is seeking an experienced trader to run a dedicated FX portfolio under the guidance of a senior PM. You will work closely with the CIO and other PMs to grow the macro trading business, scaling up the strongest ideas in partnership with senior leadership.

The role requires a >10-year trading background and a proven five-year PM track record, with deep knowledge of FX and FX options markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of trading experience.
• Five-year verifiable track record in portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge of FX and FX options markets, including local markets.
• Ability to collaborate and build synergies with existing portfolio managers.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to present ideas concisely.

Responsibilities

• Run an FX portfolio in a collaborative environment under guidance of a senior PM.
• Work with the CIO, the senior PM and existing PMs to grow the macro trading business.
• Scale up best ideas in partnership with the senior PM.
• Maintain relationships with sell-side coverage, analysts, and traders.
• Manage a well-defined, data-driven process.
• Build synergies with existing portfolio managers’ processes around trading.
• Take a quantitatively minded approach to risk and portfolio management.
