We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and professional Funeral Director to join our team. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of funeral services, ensuring a respectful, smooth, and meaningful experience for the families we serve. The role requires a high degree of empathy, attention to detail, and cultural sensitivity, especially within Singapore’s multi-religious and multi-ethnic society.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with bereaved families to discuss funeral arrangements, including casket selection, service type, location, religious or cultural rites, and transportation.
  • Organize and coordinate all aspects of funeral services including wake setup, ceremonial arrangements, and burial or cremation.
  • Oversee transportation of the deceased, coordination with crematoriums, columbariums, and cemeteries (e.g., Mandai Crematorium, Choa Chu Kang Cemetery).
  • Assist families in obtaining death certificates, burial permits, NEA approvals, and other relevant documentation.
  • Supervise funeral service staff, including embalmers, pallbearers, drivers, and setup crew.
  • Provide ongoing emotional and logistical support to families before, during, and after the funeral.
  • Work closely with religious leaders or representatives to accommodate rites and customs (e.g., Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, Taoist, Hindu traditions).
  • Manage supplies and liaise with florists, printers, musicians, and other service providers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Levels and above
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of sales experience, preferably B2C
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions carefully
