Fundraising Manager (Healthcare)

Job scope:

1. Develop and coordinate fundraising events by assessing organisational needs and understanding the involvement and requirements of donors and sponsors.
2. Communicate roles, responsibilities, and timelines clearly and timely to stakeholders.
3. Recommend and seek approval for procurement requests; liaise with vendors to obtain quotations and ensure timely delivery.
4. Monitor vendor performance to ensure project schedules are met within deadlines and budgets.
5. Coordinate operational and administrative functions to ensure events are delivered efficiently, including preparing tokens of appreciation when necessary.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders on event positioning and pitching to ensure effective publicity and timely production of collateral materials.
7. Conduct on-site inspections and manage events on the ground.
8. Prepare end-of-event financial statements and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
9. Conduct post-event evaluations and debriefs for continuous improvement.
10. Develop and implement strategies for active stewardship of existing and potential donors.
11. Build and maintain relationships with corporate groups and donors through regular communication.
12. Conduct educational talks, exhibitions, and presentations to professionals, corporate groups, and schools about the Hospice’s role and donation opportunities, or coordinate fundraising activities.
13. Prepare and submit regular fundraising performance reports and statistics to the Senior/Manager of Fundraising and Head of Communications & Community Engagement.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communications, or related field from a recognized institution.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in fundraising or donor engagement.
• Preferably experience in event organizing and management.
• Experience in fundraising within the social service industry is advantageous.
