Job summary

CBRE is seeking a hands-on Fund Finance Manager based in Singapore to oversee real estate fund accounting and administration. You will manage financial reporting, cash management, and transfer agency duties for diverse client portfolios.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance with professional qualifications and at least two years in fund accounting. Proficiency with Yardi and strong client servicing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with ICPAS/ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years in Fund accounting and Fund administration, incl. management fee, carried interest, and performance return calculations.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet tight deadlines.
• Independent, mature work ethic with the ability to perform under pressure and handle urgent ad-hoc situations.
• Prior client servicing or audit experience is a distinct advantage.
• Exposure to real estate industry or corporate secretary liaison is a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting systems; knowledge of Yardi is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting entries for Funds and SPVs using Yardi.
• Produce monthly standalone SPV reports and perform consolidations.
• Prepare detailed quarterly investor reports and respond to questionnaires.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax, and legal advisors.
• Handle accounts payable, process payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Process capital transactions, including carried interest and notices for calls/distributions.
• Respond to client/investor queries and handle ad-hoc financial requests.

You will be responsible for comprehensive financial reporting, meticulous cash management, and critical transfer agency activities for our diverse client portfolios.

You will be responsible for comprehensive financial reporting, meticulous cash management, and critical transfer agency activities for our diverse client portfolios.

What You’ll Do

• Manage end-to-end accounting entries for Funds and SPVs, utilizing the Yardi system.
• Produce comprehensive monthly standalone SPV reports and perform periodic financial consolidations.
• Prepare detailed quarterly investor reports and address bespoke investor questionnaires.
• Coordinate effectively with external professional service providers, including auditors, tax, and legal advisors.
• Handle accounts payable processes, effect payments, and conduct thorough bank reconciliations.
• Process capital transactions, including computations, rebalancing, carried interest, and investor notices for capital calls and distributions.
• Respond promptly to client and investor queries and manage various ad-hoc financial requests.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICPAS, ACCA).
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in Fund accounting and Fund administration, including expertise in management fee, carried interest, and performance return calculations.
