Job summary

Alpha Ladder Group, Singapore-based with a growing regional footprint, seeks an experienced fund lawyer to lead legal structuring for Singapore VCC funds and offshore vehicles. You will advise on MAS regulations, draft constitutive documents, and manage multi-jurisdictional projects across Asia.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 4–7 years post-qualification experience in investment funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Deep expertise in Singapore VCCs or similar funds with track record in incorporation, structuring, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory framework for fund managers.
• Experience with offshore fund structures (Cayman Islands, BVI, Luxembourg) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal structuring, incorporation, and governance of VCC funds (standalone and umbrella).
• Draft, review, and negotiate VCC constitutions, PPMs, IMs, LPAs, and Investment Management Agreements.
• Advise on MAS requirements, AML/KYC, and fund manager obligations.
• Support fund re-domiciliation into Singapore's VCC framework.
