A growing construction company in Singapore seeks an Accounting professional to manage daily financial operations and reporting. This role involves handling invoicing, payroll, and maintaining accurate accounting data. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and relevant communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent.
  • Able to work under pressure, including beyond normal hours.

Job description

1. Handle daily accounting operational functions;

2. Manage invoice preparation via vendor portal;

3. Prepare invoices for clients' monthly maintenance, projects, ad-hoc tasks, and others;

4. Prepare and send Statement of Accounts to clients;

5. Ensure accuracy and reliability of accounting data and transactions in QuickBooks;

6. Assist in chasing payments from clients;

7. Report to the Director and submit monthly reports and other required documents;

8. Assist in applying for government grants and funding (as necessary);

9. Assist in arranging vehicle handovers and season parking;

10. Monitor vehicle renewal of road tax and inspections on a motoring website;

11. Arrange vehicle insurances and handle other insurance-related matters;

12. Monitor vehicle renewal of road tax and inspections on a motoring website (duplicate, consider merging with point 10);

13. Arrange dormitory check-in and check-out;

14. Support accounting audits;

15. Prepare payroll summary reports and levy documentation;

16. Track and maintain accurate records of employee training, certifications, and qualifications, ensuring timely renewal;

17. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent.

- Able to work under pressure, including beyond normal hours, on weekends, and public holidays if required. Work days are Monday to Saturday.

- Positive, independent, and a good communicator with organizational skills.

- Hardworking, meticulous, and able to work independently.
