Functional Lead - Trade (Management Consulting Manager/Senior Manager)

What will you do?

The Functional Lead (BA) for Trade will be leading the Functional stream for Corporate Banking transformation.

This role requires an experience in Corporate Banking and domain expertise in Trade and will be responsible for leading business analysis efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving the successful implementation of solutions. The Functional Lead will define business requirements solutions, work with technical teams, and drive best practices to align with Corporate Banking Project modernization strategy.

Job Responsibilities

1. Defines the overall functional strategy and approach, lead the business analysis efforts for Trade to ensure project goes smoothly.
2. Detail out End-to-End process workflows and ensure alignment with the detailed TOM (target operating model).
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and solutions.
4. Analyse and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
5. Work closely with technology teams to ensure the successful implementation of system and process solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards and mentor/guide junior business analysts.
7. Provide regular status updates and reports to leadership, highlighting key risks, progress, and outcomes.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Corporate banking and/or Consulting with a focus on Trade.
3. Proven experience in business analysis and project management.
4. Strong understanding of Trade systems, processes, and regulations.
5. Experience in leading and managing teams.
6. Overall Trade software's experience would be greatly preferred such as CGI Trade 360.
7. Other software across Corporate Banking other streams would be good to have.
