Functional Lead - Payments (Management Consulting Manager/Senior Manager)

What will you do?

The Functional Lead (BA) for Payments Solutions will be leading the Functional stream for Corporate Banking transformation.

This role requires experience in Corporate Banking and domain expertise in Payments Solutions and will be responsible for leading business analysis efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving the successful implementation of solutions. The Functional Lead will define business requirements solutions, work with technical teams, and drive best practices to align with Corporate Banking Project modernization strategy.

Job Responsibilities

1. Defines the overall functional strategy and approach, leads the business analysis efforts for Payments Solutions to ensure the project goes smoothly.
2. Details out End-to-End process workflows and ensures alignment with the detailed TOM (target operating model).
3. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and solutions.
4. Analyses and translates business requirements into functional specifications.
5. Works closely with technology teams to ensure the successful implementation of system and process solutions.
6. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards and mentors/guides junior business analysts.
7. Provides regular status updates and reports to leadership, highlighting key risks, progress, and outcomes.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Corporate Banking and/or Consulting with a focus on Payment Solutions.
3. Proven experience in business analysis and project management.
4. Strong understanding of Payments systems, processes, and regulations.
5. Experience in leading and managing teams.
6. Overall Payments software experience would be greatly preferred such as Finastra GPP.
7. Other software across Corporate Banking / other streams would be good to have.
