Job summary

D L RESOURCES PTE LTD is seeking a capable candidate to analyze and plan change requests for financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and management accounting applications. You will perform data analyses, UAT preparation and execution, and production implementation tasks in a collaborative banking/financial services environment.

You will configure systems to support UAT, validate changes, and oversee data transports between Data Warehouse, OFSAA, Hyperion, Moody's Ray, and OSX apps, with

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Admin, Mathematics or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years working experience, preferably in banking/financial services with at least 1 major project.
• Foundational knowledge in Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Familiarity with financial/regulatory reporting processes and submission frequency.
• Understand banking products including Loans, Overdrafts, Trade Finance and Treasury instruments.
• Experience in UAT, logging errors and documenting test scripts.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and MS Excel functions including Pivot tables.
• Good understanding of Data Architecture, Data Warehouse and BI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regulatory requirements and data analyses; prepare and execute UAT; perform production implementation tasks.

Job description

1. Analyze and plan change requests cum project related to Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and Regulatory Reporting applications using Hyperion, Oracle Financials and Moody's Ray software.
2. Perform regulatory requirements and data analyses, functional solution review, User Acceptance Test(UAT) preparation, UAT execution and production implementation tasks.
3. Tasks include configuration management of the software system to support User Acceptance Tests(UAT).
4. Conduct functional validation of system changes, including data transport from the Data Warehouse to the OFSAA, Hyperion, Moody's Ray and Wolters Kluwer OSX applications.

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Admin, Mathematics or related discipline.
2. Minimum 2 years working experience, preferably in the banking/financial services industry with exposure and participation in at least 1 major project.
3. Foundational knowledge in Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards, as well as familiarity with the financial/ regulatory reporting process and submission frequency.
4. Sound knowledge of banking products, including Loans, Overdrafts, Trade Finance and Treasury instruments.
5. Understanding of the process of change management, regulatory changes and reporting cycles.
6. Able to oversee change management, as well as track, manage and expedite issues.
7. Experience in conducting UAT, logging errors and documenting test scripts, results and findings.
8. Proficiency in SQL scripting, MS Excel functions including Pivot table is a must.
9. Good understanding of Data Architecture, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence subjects.
10. Experience with use of analytics tools such as OBIEE and QlikSense is a plus.
11. Possess good communication skills, a curious nature and strong ability in project identification, variance analyses and issue resolution.
12. Team player, meticulous and able to work independently and motivate others.
