Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, quality assurance, scripting languages, and operating systems.
• Hands-on development experience in backend technologies including JAVA, J2EE, SQL, and related stacks, preferably with open-source libraries.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and JPA / Hibernate is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of QA frameworks like Karate and TestNG, and test automation frameworks, is beneficial.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
• Good designing, analytical, programming, and communication skills, with a focus on building stable solutions.
• Experience writing unit tests using frameworks like JUnit / TestNG.
• Experience with n-tier web application development and the latest JDK; Java / J2EE certification is advantageous. Familiarity with web services standards (XML, JSON, REST, SOAP) is desirable.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with REST clients like Postman, and Linux skills.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration / Delivery and Test Driven Development is beneficial.
• Experience with microservices, container platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and data streaming tools like Kafka and RabbitMQ is a strong plus.
