Job summary

BASE CAMP DIGITAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/React) to deliver high-impact backend services and interactive frontend components for banking and financial services.

The role focuses on scalable Java backends with Spring Boot/Spring Security and modern React frontends, integrating with Azure-based CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has deep experience across backend, frontend, and database design, plus familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and both SQL and NoSQL

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full stack development experience.
• Proficiency in Java backend development with Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• Experience with React, Hooks and Redux/Redux Toolkit.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Banking/financial services background is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Join a leading financial services technology team as a Senior Full Stack Developer, delivering high-impact backend and frontend solutions within Corporate & Investment Banking on a 12-month extendable contract.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus to support scalable financial applications
• Develop responsive frontend applications with React and LIT to enhance user experience in banking systems
• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Mentor and guide junior developers to elevate team technical capabilities and code quality
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications on Azure cloud infrastructure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 10+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java backend development, including Spring Boot and Spring Security
• Solid experience with React frameworks, including Hooks and Redux/Redux Toolkit
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Prior experience in banking or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory
