Job summary

IDC TECHNOLOGIES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a DevOps-oriented full-stack engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust Java/Spring Boot microservices, MariaDB databases, and Angular/Node.js frontends.

You will build RESTful APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines, and create Kibana dashboards, with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised deployments. Collaboration with DevOps and stakeholders across the lifecycle is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of full stack development experience in Java, Sprint Boot and Angular.
• Strong proficiency in MariaDB or MySQL – schema design, stored procedure, query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience building Kibana dashboards and reports using ELK stack.
• Practical experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerised deployments
• Proficiency with Git and branching strategies

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement business logic, data access layers, and service integrations.
• Manage and optimize MariaDB databases including schema design, query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Apply security best practices including OAuth2, JWT-based authentication, and data encryption.
• Develop and consume third-party API integrations.
• Build frontend applications using Angular and Node.js with Spring Boot backend.
• Write clean, maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code following best practices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional interfaces
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across environments
• Automate tests and ensure quality gates within pipelines
• Manage containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Provide documentation for APIs, pipelines and dashboards
• Collaborate with DevOps and business stakeholders throughout the development life cycle.
