Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a seasoned full-stack developer to design, build and maintain scalable web applications using React.js on the frontend and Python web frameworks on the backend.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborate across teams, implement secure APIs, and ensure robust testing and performance across systems while delivering high quality software in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and maintain scalable and highly secured web applications across the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Build reusable, maintainable and well-tested frontend components using React.js.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs and microservices using the "big three" open-source Python web frameworks.
• Design and integrate APIs between frontend, backend and external systems.
• Develop using relational and NoSQL databases and optimize application database performance.
• Implement authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring and error handling.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, developing, integrating and maintaining scalable and highly secured web applications across the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Build reusable, maintainable and well-tested frontend components using React.js.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs and microservices using the "big three" open-source Python web frameworks.
• Design and integrate APIs between frontend, backend and external systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related studies
• At least 7–10 years of software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in React.js and Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask and Django.
• Demonstrated ability to independently design and implement technical solutions in a fast pace Agile environment.
• Experience in automated testing using PyTest, Jest or equivalent
• Excellent understanding of application security, IAM, and data privacy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

TechnicalSkills required:

Front-end development skills

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React Hooks, state management and component architecture.
• REST API integration
• Responsive web application development

Back-end development skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask and Django.
• RESTful API and microservice development
• Authentication and authorization
• API security and performance optimization

Databases skills

• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MS SQL Server
• Exposure to NoSQL databases is desirable
