Job summary

SG Nova Education PTE. LTD. in Singapore is expanding its teaching team and inviting passionate educators to join our education consultancy, delivering English, Mathematics and Science tutoring across MOE and international curricula.

We seek committed Primary School Tutors to conduct one-to-one and small-group lessons, plan engaging lessons, provide progress feedback to parents and maintain a positive classroom environment. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience at primary school level.
• Strong knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science.
• Familiarity with Singapore MOE curriculum; international curricula a plus.
• Experience with Cambridge English qualifications (A2 Key, B1 PET) is a plus.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with MOE and international curricula.
• Teach English, Maths and/or Science in one-to-one or small groups.
• Prepare lesson materials, activities and assessments to monitor progress.
• Adapt teaching to different abilities and learning needs.
• Provide feedback and communicate with parents on progress.
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom.
• Help students develop independent learning and confidence.

Job Summary

We are seeking committed and enthusiastic Primary School Tutors to deliver quality instruction in English, Mathematics and Science. The successful candidates will conduct both one-to-one and small-group lessons, supporting students in strengthening their academic foundations, developing essential learning skills and achieving their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons in accordance with the Singapore MOE Primary School curriculum and relevant international curricula.

• Teach English, Mathematics and/or Science through individual and small-group sessions.

• Prepare appropriate lesson materials, learning activities and assessments to monitor and support students' academic progress.

• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning abilities, levels and individual learning needs.

• Provide constructive feedback and communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress and areas for improvement.

• Maintain a positive, supportive and well-managed classroom environment.

• Support students in developing subject knowledge, independent learning skills and confidence.

Requirements & Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience at the primary school level, preferably in mainstream schools, international schools or established tuition centres.

• Strong subject knowledge in English, Mathematics and/or Science.

• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE curriculum; experience with international curricula will be an advantage.

• Experience preparing students for Cambridge English Qualifications, particularly A2 Key (KET) and B1 Preliminary (PET), will be an added advantage.

• Patient, responsible and professional, with a genuine commitment to students' learning and development.

• Good communication and classroom management skills.

• Degree holders are preferred.

• Must be available and willing to teach on weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
