Job summary

Kowabunga! Global Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Full-Time Student Care Teacher for our Ang Mo Kio centre. You will supervise primary school students, guide homework, run enrichment activities and help create a safe, engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum qualification (O-Level/ A-Level/ Diploma) or higher; training will be provided. Immediate or short notice availability is welcome; retirees are welcome to apply. Monthly salary SGD 1,800–SGD 2,200.

Qualifications

Minimum qualification as listed (O-Level/A-Level/Higher Nitec/Diploma).
Training will be provided for candidates with no prior teaching experience.
Patient, caring, responsible and passionate about working with children.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to manage a group of primary school students effectively.
Able to commence work immediately or within a short notice period.
Minimum commitment of 1 year. Retirees welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Supervise primary school children during daily centre activities.
Maintain classroom discipline and effective classroom management.
Coach and guide students in completing their school homework.
Conduct in-house enrichment programmes and curriculum-based activities.
Create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and character development.
Monitor students' learning progress and provide appropriate guidance.
Maintain effective communication with students, parents and colleagues.
Assist with centre programmes, events and daily operations.
Maintain classroom cleanliness and ensure teaching materials are properly organised.
