Mind’s Eye Learning Hub in Singapore is seeking a full-time Primary English Teacher who brings a fun, engaging, and authentic teaching style. You’ll collaborate with a team to create lively lessons that kids look forward to attending.

Experience with MOE Primary English is a bonus; however, personality, teaching ability, and the connection with students matter most. The role includes Paper 1 (Composition), Paper 2 (Grammar, Synthesis & Transformation, Editing, Cloze, Comprehension Open-Ended)

If you’re loud, energetic, can make kids laugh, and somehow understand what “rizz”, “aura” and “brainrot” mean — you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

More importantly, you should be someone who genuinely enjoys working with primary school children and knows how to make English lessons something theylook forward to attending.

As a full-time English teacher at Mind’s Eye Learning Hub, you’ll work closely with our team to create a learning environment that isfun, engaging and effective.

You will teach:

• Paper 1 — Composition
• Paper 2 — Grammar, Synthesis & Transformation, Editing, Cloze, Comprehension Open-Ended and other components
• Oralduring the PSLE Oral season

Our teaching philosophy goes beyond getting students to memorise model answers. We want our students to understandhow and whythey can improve, especially when it comes to composition writing and language skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach Primary School English:Paper 1, Paper 2 & Oral
• Make lessonsfun, engaging and effective
• Identify and address students’ learning gaps
• Track students’ progress and providemonthly feedback
• Work closely with the teaching team on curriculum and student development

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You don’t need to be the stereotypical “English teacher”.

We want someone with aGOATED personality— someone our students can connect with, have fun with and learn from.

You should be:

• Energetic, confident and comfortable being yourself in front of a class
• Able to make lessons fun without compromising learning outcomes
• Patient and attentive to individual students’ needs
• Good at breaking down difficult English concepts into simple, practical explanations
• Comfortable teaching both weaker and stronger students
• Able to communicate clearly with the teaching team

These would be a bonus:

• Familiarity with the latestMOE English Language syllabus
• Understanding ofPSLE English scoring and marking requirements
• Strong understanding ofPrimary School composition teaching
• Experience teaching Primary 1–6 English
• A background in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field
