Job summary

Intellect Learning Hub in Singapore is seeking a dedicated full-time teacher to join our team. You will teach English (including KET/PET exam preparation), Mathematics, and general English language skills to students at various levels.

The role involves planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, providing individualized support, and communicating with parents. A Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, or a related field is required, with familiarity with Cambridge KET/PET

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Cambridge English exam formats (KET/PET).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and productive learning environment.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Singaporean or PR with Chinese-speaking background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in English, focusing on KET/PET exam preparation, Math, and general English language development.
• Assess student progress through regular assignments, tests, and feedback.
• Provide individualized support to students to improve their language proficiency and academic performance.
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to students' needs and learning styles.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Monitor and track student attendance and performance.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress, concerns, and upcoming assessments.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
• Ensure that all lessons are aligned with curriculum standards and exam requirements (for KET/PET).
