Job summary

Sofnade Catering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a reliable Kitchen Steward / Cleaner to support our Central Kitchen in Singapore Admiralty Foodxchange.

This full-time role involves cleaning pots, pans, utensils, equipment, and work areas, maintaining a safe and organized kitchen for daily catering operations. Salary up to SGD 2,200 per month; 9-hour shifts with a 1-hour break and one rest day. Training is provided; candidates should be physically fit, able to lift equipment, and follow SOPs.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work.
• Able to lift and move catering equipment safely.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
• Willing to support team during busy periods.
• Training provided for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean pots, pans, trays, utensils and equipment.
• Clean catering and event equipment returned from off-site events.
• Sweep, mop and maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors and work areas.
• Dispose of rubbish and food waste properly.
• Wash, dry and return cleaned equipment to storage locations.
• Help organise event equipment, boxes and storage areas.
• Report damaged, faulty equipment to the supervisor.
• Assist with loading, unloading and moving catering equipment when required.
• Follow food hygiene, workplace safety and cleaning SOPs.
• Support general housekeeping and stewarding duties in the Central Kitchen.
• Carry out other operational duties assigned by the supervisor.
