Job Overview:

HERMANOS is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Bartender & Floor Crew. This unique role combines bartending expertise with floor management responsibilities, allowing you to be at the heart of delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth operations on both the bar and the dining floor, providing top-notch service and maintaining an inviting atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Bartending:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and frozen margaritas with expertise and care.
  • Ensure high-quality drink presentation and consistency across all orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring stock is regularly replenished and the bar runs smoothly.
  • Engage with guests, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and making personalized drink recommendations.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including age restrictions for alcohol service.

Floor Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the dining floor, ensuring all guests receive excellent service.
  • Support front-of-house staff, ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and service team.
  • Manage delivery platforms and ensure timely and accurate order processing.
  • Open and close the bar, ensuring all necessary setup and shutdown procedures are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant before opening and after closing, ensuring a tidy, welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
  • Assist in staff training and development, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Handle guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bartending and floor management, ideally in a fast-paced restaurant or bistro environment.
  • Expertise in mixing a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, and frozen margaritas.
  • Experience managing delivery platforms and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and a passion for hospitality.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 6-day workweek with 1 day off / Flexi shift as planned by manager.
