About the role

We are seeking a full-time Barista cum Roastery Assistant to join our team at our coffee bar cum roastery located in Everton Park. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee beverages in a fast-paced environment, as well as assisting with roasting operations within our on-site roastery.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving espresso-based beverages and filter coffees to Nylon standards

• Providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers

• Assisting with post-roasting operations, mainly packaging of roasted coffees, e-commerce fulfillment and participating in quality control processes

• Restocking and maintaining equipment and supplies

• Contributing to the overall smooth running of the daily operations

What we're looking for

• 1-2 years of experience as a barista or in a similar role within the coffee industry with a good understanding of what we do

• A passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and sustainability

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude

• Self-motivated with perseverance to excel as a coffee professional
