Job Description
As a Videographer at The Travel Intern, you’ll help shape the future of travel content by ideating and producing videos that inspire, entertain, and connect with audiences across platforms. From short-form social media clips to longer-form productions, you’ll be hands-on in every stage of the creative process — with the ability to think social-first and the curiosity to experiment with AI-driven tools that improve workflows or explore creative boundaries.
We are looking for both Senior Full-Stack Videographer (min. 4 yrs experience) and Full-Stack Videographer (with 1-3 yrs experience).

Responsibilities & Expectations
- Content ideation and Pitching
- Actively lead brainstorming sessions for clients and in-house video projects, bringing fresh, social-first ideas that resonate with our audience.
- Contribute to content strategy and planning, including research of trends, competitors, user-generated content, and markets.
- Leverage AI tools to streamline research, spark creative directions, and enhance content development.
- Content Creation
- Take part in end-to-end production — conceptualisation, scripting, filming, editing, and even stepping in as on-camera talent when the concept requires it.
- Ensure content is optimised for different social platforms (IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.), adapting styles and formats accordingly.
- Work independently or collaboratively to bring ideas to life in accordance with the vision and requirements.
- Use AI-assisted editing or creative tools where relevant to elevate video quality and efficiency.
- Planning & Management
- Support preparation for local/overseas travel assignments, including itinerary planning, sponsorship, and permit applications.
- Take a performance-led approach to content. Analyse, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns (ROI) in an effort to maximise results.
- Guide junior/intern videographers to ensure videos produced are on brief and on time.
Requirements
- Ability to think social-first — understanding what drives shareability, engagement, and storytelling on each platform.
- Skilled in videography and editing, with proficiency in operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras minimally.
- Proficient in video editing software (i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Davinci Resolve, etc.)
- Familiar with (or eager to explore) AI tools for ideation, editing, and workflow optimisation. Adaptable and resourceful, especially when managing overseas shoots
- Comfortable appearing on-camera when needed.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Bonus: Comfortable with flying consumer drones (but don’t worry, we can teach you).
This position is based in Singapore and may involve overseas travel.
