Job summary

Citi Equities Technology in Singapore is seeking an intermediate Full Stack UI Developer to contribute to new and revised application systems, working with the Technology team on front-end development.

You will be responsible for building robust UI with React/TypeScript, managing state with Redux, and ensuring code quality through unit testing and best practices. This role emphasizes collaboration and independent planning within Citi.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JS/Typescript.
• Proficient in React with hooks.
• Experience with unit testing using Jest and React Testing Library.
• State management with Redux, Recoil, or React Context.
• Experience with RxJS, WebSockets, and Web Workers.
• Familiar with build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JWT, Node.js, Express.
• Container-based development such as Electron.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web apps using React and TypeScript, ensuring high quality, clean and maintainable code.
• Manage application state using Redux and middleware such as Redux Toolkit.
• Ensure high test coverage by writing unit tests using Jest/RTL-like tools.
• Write and maintain a suite of reusable UI components across feature apps.
• Contribute to overall application architecture and front-end best practices.
• Perform code reviews to improve quality, maintainability and testability.
• Be a self-starter, plan and schedule own work, implement functionality without direct supervision.
• Collaborate with teams to form a strong working culture and adapt to different environments.
