Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled software engineer in Singapore to design and deliver production-grade features across the stack using Node.js/TypeScript. The role focuses on modern web development with React/Next.js, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployment on AWS.

You will implement RBAC, PDPA-compliant data handling, and integrate digital identity services, notifications, and reporting capabilities. A strong emphasis on CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship production-grade features across the stack using Node.js and TypeScript with modern web practices.
• Deliver mobile-responsive web interfaces and Progressive Web App capabilities using React and Next.js.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and the data models behind them with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Implement RBAC, audit logging, and PDPA-compliant data handling controls.
• Integrate Singpass, MyInfo, Corppass and notification services such as AWS SES/SNS and Twilio.
• Build scheduling/availability features with calendar functionality and QR-based attendance tracking.
• Develop dashboards and exportable reports (PDF, Excel).
• Implement search/filtering and personalization features based on user activity.
• Integrate AI/ML services to enhance matching.
• Deploy on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS) and manage CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, and CDK.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship production-grade features across the stack using Node.js and TypeScript, applying modern web development practices and component-based architecture.
• Deliver mobile-responsive web interfaces and Progressive Web App capabilities using frameworks such as React and Next.js.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and the data models behind them, working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Implement Role-Based Access Control, audit logging, and the data handling controls required for PDPA compliance.
• Integrate national digital identity and business identity services including Singpass, MyInfo and Corppass, along with email and SMS notification services such as AWS SES, SNS and Twilio.
• Build scheduling and availability management features, including calendar functionality, and attendance tracking mechanisms such as QR code-based check-in and check-out.
• Develop dashboards and generate reports in exportable formats such as PDF and Excel.
• Implement search and filtering across profiles and listings, and build recommendation or personalisation features based on similarity, stated preferences or past activity.
• Integrate AI/ML services and APIs where they improve the user experience or the quality of matching.
• Deploy and operate the application on cloud infrastructure such as AWS EC2, Lambda and RDS, including deployment and infrastructure management.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK), and monitoring and observability practices.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Computer Science ora related field.
• Recent hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript is mandatory.
• Track recordof delivering production-grade applications.
• Proficiencyin Node.js and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of modern web development practices and component-based architecture.
• Experience withfrontendframeworks such as React and Next.js.
• Mobile-responsive web development and/or Progressive Web App (PWA) development.
• RESTful API design and development.
