Job summary

Rapsys Technologies Pte Ltd. in Singapore invites a Software Engineer to join our team for end-to-end web application development.

You will work on front-end and back-end components, APIs, and AWS, delivering high-performance solutions that power our growth. You will collaborate with business users, analysts, architects, and vendors to design and implement scalable cloud-enabled applications, modernise services, perform rigorous testing, and contribute to secure, efficient software delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years designing, developing, testing and maintaining enterprise apps in cloud environments.
• Experience building front-end and back-end components, APIs and system integrations.
• Hands-on with AWS services, microservices, REST APIs, and containerisation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and release processes.
• Agile and DevSecOps experience with estimation, design, delivery, and support.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted software engineering tools a plus.
• Understanding of scalable, highly available and secure application solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications.
• Modernise services via refactoring, API enablement, and cloud migration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to implement solutions.
• Contribute to POC initiatives, prototyping, and technology evaluation.
• Manage source control, coding standards, security practices, and runbooks.
• Deploy, troubleshoot, and enhance applications throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce secure coding to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Automate development, testing, deployment, and operations for reliability.
• Document designs, deployment guides, and system procedures.
