• Requires Java-based development experience and frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and Sybase databases.
• Exposure to API development and system integrations.
• Experience with data migration activities and tools.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in Agile or collaborative delivery environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale applications or public sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications aligned with business needs.
• Translate functional requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Build workflows, forms, and integrations to improve business processes.
• Develop and integrate backend services and APIs.
• Perform testing, debugging, and provide ongoing application support.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Support enhancements, bug fixes, and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects.
• Maintain clear documentation and follow development best practices.
• Take ownership of assigned modules and contribute to end- to-end delivery.
• Design and execute data migration, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
• Analyse legacy data structures and map them to target data models.
• Develop and optimise data migration pipelines and scripts.
• Validate migrated data through reconciliation, testing, and quality checks.
• Support cutover planning and execution for migration activities.
