Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Developer for Group Infrastructure and Cloud. The role focuses on creating web software with Angular/NodeJS, RESTful APIs, and database-driven services while adhering to the SDLC and agile practices.

You will work on frontend and server-side components, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to architectural decisions while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and robust performance.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of web development experience.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 and Ant Design framework.
• Experience with LESS/SASS preprocessing.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular and Express (NodeJS).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous requests, AJAX, and partial page updates.
• Cross-browser compatibility knowledge.
• Proficient in SQL-based queries and ORM, preferably MariaDB.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and Express usage.
• Familiarity with D3.js and g2plot charting libraries.
• Experience with Git, SVN, Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, debugging and analytical skills.
• Strong initiative and ownership.

Job Title: Infrastructure Developer, Group Infrastructure and Cloud

Technical Competencies

• Programming Language/Framework – Angular, NodeJS, Sequelize, ANT Design (ng-zorro) or similar Javascript frameworks.
• Databases (MariaDB).
• API (SOAP/RESTful/AJAX calls).
• Tools (GIT, SVN, Jenkins).
• Data Format (JSON, CSV, XML).

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in web development.
• Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML5, CSS3 and or Ant Design framework.
• Experience in server side CSS pre-processing platforms including but not limited to LESS and SASS.
• Proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript/typescript frameworks and libraries specifically Angular and Express (NodeJS).
• Deep understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX.
• Proficient understanding of cross browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient in ORM framework and or SQL-based queries preferably in MariaDB.
• Good understanding of RESTful API and able to make API in Express.
• Proficient understanding of charting library specifically D3.js and g2plot.
• Good working knowledge on Software Development Lifecycle and has experience using tools such as GIT, SVN, Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, etc.
• Knowledge on Agile methodology.

• Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
