Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute to enterprise application development. The role involves building and refining frontend, backend, and system components, applying best practices in microservices and cloud-native design.

You will investigate production issues via end-to-end tracing, analyze logs and DB interactions, and collaborate with stakeholders to propose robust technical solutions. Strong communication and Agile experience are required.

Qualifications

• Strong programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, or Node.js for enterprise applications.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, software engineering principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs, service integrations, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or Solace.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, including log analysis, end-to-end request tracing, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with Angular, Java/Quarkus, Oracle SQL, Keycloak, CI/CD, Docker/Podman is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Support frontend, backend, and system components through feature development, enhancements, bug fixes, testing, and code reviews.
• Investigate application issues by tracing requests across microservices, APIs, databases, messaging systems, and other components.
• Analyze logs, application behavior, database interactions, and messaging flows to identify the root cause of production and development issues.
• Understand system dependencies, participate in solution discussions, perform impact assessments, and recommend technical solutions and improvements.
• Review business and technical requirements, identify gaps and risks, clarify ambiguities, and work closely with stakeholders and development teams
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, system flows, API/integration documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
