Job summary

MAESTRO HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. seeks a software developer to design, build, and maintain applications across the full software lifecycle in an Agile team. You will work on Java-based services using Spring Boot, and contribute to front-end work with React.js or Vue.js, while writing clean, tested code and documenting APIs.

Collaborate in design, testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes, learn best practices, and participate in sprint planning and code reviews to improve delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Applicants with no experience are welcomed to apply
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development fundamentals
• Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Familiarity with React.js or Vue.js front-end frameworks
• Understanding of Git or other source code management tools
• Basic knowledge of databases and RESTful APIs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications based on functional and technical requirements to meet business needs
• Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions to ensure successful delivery
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern development frameworks and technologies for long-term usability
• Create and execute unit tests to validate software quality and reliability before release
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues to maintain optimal system functionality
• Collaborate with team members during Agile development activities such as sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives to enhance team productivity
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and deployment activities under senior engineers’ guidance to streamline release processes
• Learn and apply software engineering best practices, design patterns, and coding standards to improve code quality
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and application performance to increase efficiency and user satisfaction
