Job summary

Singapore Airlines Limited is seeking an Information Technology - Application Developer (AOS) to join the Application Services team within the Airport Operation Systems division. You will contribute to fast-paced agile squads, building and integrating microservices and RESTful APIs, with a strong focus on security, scalability and quality.

The role emphasizes full-stack development in Java, Spring Boot, React, and CI/CD pipelines, with exposure to cloud platforms and AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Strong Java experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong React.js experience for front-end development.
• End-to-end microservices integration with front-end systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control.
• Familiar with testing practices and secure coding.
• Exposure to relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with GenAI/AI-assisted development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems via APIs and messaging.
• Design and implement SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Develop new features for existing and new apps.
• Create scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Provide technical input to refine user stories with product owners.
• Create and maintain technical design docs and test scripts.
• Write automated unit and integration tests and ensure security best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide production support as needed.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements.
