Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte. Ltd is seeking an experienced web developer to design and implement software solutions using Angular, NodeJS/Express, and related technologies.

You will study user needs, analyze workflows, and contribute across the full development lifecycle from requirements through deployment. You will evaluate feasibility, document technical solutions, and ensure cross‑browser compatibility while leveraging RESTful APIs and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in web development.
• Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML5, CSS3 and Ant Design (framework).
• Experience in server-side CSS preprocessing (LESS/SASS).
• Proficient in client-side Java/Type frameworks and libraries specifically Angular and Express (NodeJS).
• Deep understanding of asynchronous request handling and AJAX.
• Cross browser compatibility knowledge and workarounds.
• Proficient in ORM and SQL-based queries, preferably MariaDB (or similar).
• Understanding of RESTful API and ability to make API calls in Express.
• Familiar with D3.js and Highcharts for charting.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and tools like GIT, SVN, Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA; Agile mindset.
• Excellent debugging, analytical skills; strong initiative and leadership to manage initiatives and small teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs and business processes.
• Evaluate feasibility through requirements and proposed solutions.
• Document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments.
• Design system specifications, standards, and programming approaches.
• Suggest policy and procedure improvements to enhance operations.
• Address cross-browser compatibility issues and provide workarounds.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues.
• Support and mentor software engineers through coaching and education.
