Job summary

AppLovin is seeking a Full Stack Engineering Intern to help build web apps, embedded experiences, and mini games for Gist. You’ll work across frontend interfaces and backend services, delivering fast, reliable user experiences across web and mobile contexts in Singapore.

You will own features from implementation to launch under guidance, collaborating with product and design, with a focus on code quality, debugging, and end-to-end delivery during summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field; available for full-time internship in Singapore during summer 2027.
• Strong foundations in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with responsive layouts and understanding of browser behavior.
• Hands-on experience with React or Vue, from coursework, projects, hackathons, or internships.
• Exposure to backend development with APIs and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Solid CS fundamentals across data structures, algorithms, networking, and databases.
• Evidence of shipping something end-to-end, e.g., side project or hackathon build.
• Thoughtful debugging and testing, and code that is easy to read.
• Strong ownership mindset and clear communication; proactive in delivery.
• Attention to small details that make consumer products feel intuitive.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework such as React or Vue.
• Develop web experiences that run inside mobile WebViews, adapting to multiple screen sizes.
• Build and integrate lightweight mini games and interactive features with backend services.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs and database integrations powering features.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and mobile engineers to turn requirements into features.
• Improve product performance, stability, and user experience across web and in-app surfaces.
• Write maintainable, tested code; participate in code reviews; troubleshoot frontend and backend.
• Own and ship at least one project by internship end.
