Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd invites applications for a full-stack developer to design, develop, and maintain ReactJS front-end (Vite) and Spring Boot back-end, and to build robust REST APIs.

The role requires hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate and SQL, AWS, Docker, Gradle, and Git, with a proven ability to implement microservices and deliver in an Agile, iterative environment. You will work independently, own deliverables, and contribute to quality through unit testing and API mocking.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development using ReactJS and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience in ReactJS, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL.
• Proven experience in REST API development/integration and Microservices patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and good understanding of AWS fundamentals.
• Experience in application containerisation using Docker.
• Good experience with Gradle, Git, unit testing, and local API mocking.
• Exposure to AI agent development/integration is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of Agile/iterative delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using ReactJS (Vite) and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and implement Microservices patterns.
• Implement data persistence and database operations using JPA and SQL.
• Develop and support AI-agent capabilities as part of the application.
• Work with AWS services and support cloud-based application development.
• Build and manage containerised applications using Docker.
• Perform unit testing and local API mocking to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Use Gradle and Git for build management and source code version control.
• Participate in an iterative delivery environment, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Work independently and take accountability for assigned deliverables.
