Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance backend and frontend applications, APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations. You will build responsive interfaces and design multi‑component workflows for case management, payments, and reporting.

The role emphasizes secure coding, SDLC ownership, and collaboration with product managers and UI/UX designers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and system design.
• Experience with secure application design and best practices.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications with workflow-based processes (case management, payments, reporting).
• Proficiency designing and deploying cloud-based apps and integrating external systems.
• Hands-on SDLC experience with Tungsten/Decisions platforms is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS/GCC).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend and frontend applications, including APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations.
• Build and improve responsive frontend interfaces using established design systems while ensuring performance, scalability, and usability.
• Develop business‑critical workflows supporting case management, application processing, lodgement, payment integration, accounting, document management, reporting, and search functionalities.
• Ensure high software quality through code reviews, automated testing, secure coding practices, dependency management, observability, and DevSecOps.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Participate in sprint planning, technical design discussions, effort estimation, and architectural reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, user‑centric solutions.
