Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte ltd is seeking a contract Full Stack Engineer to work across front-end, back-end, and low-code platforms in Singapore. The role involves building scalable web and mobile solutions using ReactJS, RoR/Node.js, and cloud services, with strong emphasis on Agile practices, TDD, and CI/CD.

The candidate should be comfortable in Mac/Linux environments and collaborate in cross-functional teams while delivering high-quality software. Shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Front end technologies: ReactJS, Typescript, mobile app development (Swift/Android).
• Backend: RoR, Node.js, Java/Kotlin, Python.
• Low-code platforms: OutSystems, Mendix, Pega, Appian, MS Power Apps.
• CI/CD and cloud: AWS/GCP/Heroku, Serverless, Docker.
• CI tools: Bamboo, TeamCity.
• Wireframing with Figma.
• Mac/Linux development environments.
• Experience in agile teams: TDD, Pair programming, Scrum, XP.
• Familiar with Windows and UNIX/Linux servers.
• Knowledge of design patterns and unit testing.
• Strong presentation and listening skills.
• Exposure to mobile development and cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an Agile team to deliver full-stack features.
• Implement front-end with ReactJS/Typescript and integrate with backend services.
• Develop and maintain backend services (RoR/Node.js/Java/Python).
• Leverage low-code platforms when needed to accelerate delivery.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Heroku).
• Work with Docker and containerized environments and CI tools (Bamboo/TeamCity).
• Create wireframes and UI concepts with Figma; iterate in Mac/Linux environments.

• Experience in backend technologies such as the following (but not limited to):
  • RoR (Ruby on Rails)
  • Node.js
  • Java/Kotlin
  • Python
  • Other relevant stack
• Experience in low code application platforms such as the following (but not limited to):
  • OutSystems
  • Mendix
  • Pega
  • Appian
  • MS Power Apps.
• Experience in one or more of the following processes and infrastructure knowledge:
  • Agile processes/practices (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming)
  • Continuous integration/continuous deployment
  • Cloud/PaaS platforms, such as AWS/GCP/Heroku
  • Serverless Framework
  • Docker/container technology
• Experience with Continuous Integration such as the following (but not limited to):
  • Bamboo
  • TeamCity
• Experience with low code development and wireframing tools such as Figma.
• Experience developing in Mac/Linux environment
• Experience working in agile teams – TDD, Pair programming, Scrum, XP
• Familiar with both Windows and UNIX/Linux servers
• Familiar with Design Patterns

• Exposure to mobile application development will be an added advantage
• Working experience in Agile and UX development environment will be an added advantage
• Familiar or have experiences in cloud technology such as AWS, Azure, etc. Certification on cloud technology will have higher weightage
