About the job Full Stack Developer (React/Java)

A global bank is seeking a highly skilled Full stack Developer to join our dynamic team at a leading financial institution in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions for our financial products and services.

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Optimize server-side performance and ensure data integrity and security.

Work on integrating various financial systems and third-party services, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the stack, providing support for both development and production environments.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.

Skills & Qualifications:

Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, NPM).

Core Java & related utilities/libraries, particularly collections, JSON, JDBC, Maven.

Spring Framework including Spring Boot, JDBC templates and JPA.

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Basic understanding of Unix Operating system and bash scripting

Good code review skills, and pride in code quality

Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, to work in an agile environment.

Work experience in the financial industry preferable
