Job summary

Nomura in Singapore seeks a Full Stack Data Engineer to develop scalable, secure data platforms and AI/ML ops aligned with business objectives.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering / MLOps within financial services, strong cloud, CI/CD, and microservices experience, plus React UI capabilities. You will partner with global teams to deliver reliable data solutions and governance.

Qualifications

Masters in quantitative fields (Computer Science, Statistics or similar).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data engineering/MLOps, full stack engineering in the financial sector.
Experience in data management: data quality, metadata, lineage, governance.
Deployment: CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, DevOps processes.
Programming in Python/Java/Unix scripting; orchestration with Airflow or Autosys.
Cloud technologies: EC2, EMR, Snowflake; hybrid data architecture.
Proficiency in React; UI development is a plus.
Experience building scalable microservices and data models.
Strong stakeholder management and communication.

Drive AI/ML solution operationalization with data quality, governance and metadata best practices.
Lead data management to ensure data quality, lineage, and platform reliability.
